February 2 @ 2:00 pm - February 8 @ 2:00 pm

ISTA returns to the stunning volcanic lake vortex of Lake Atitlan February 2-8, 2019 for our 8th year at the luxury eco-retreat, Villa Sumaya. Join us!

This life changing transformational intensive focuses on clearing the physical and emotional body of shame, guilt and fear related to sexuality and authenticity. The cornerstone of this work is about consent, developing healthy boundaries and communication. If you are called to live in your truth, more lovingly, more powerfully, more free – take your place in circle with us!

If you are ready to radically enliven your sexuality and dive deep into the heart of your wild erotic nature, then join us for a beautiful synthesis of neurological re-patterning, sexual healing, and shamanic exploration that activates the powerful life force energy that dwells in your being.

What will I learn or gain from this Intensive Retreat?

ISTA Level 1 is a container that will invite and provide you:

  • Essential life skills around your sexual life force we should have recevied as teenagers.
  • To claim your erotic birthright to passion and pleasure
  • Release fear, guilt and shame around sexuality
  • Learn incredible tools and information that will enable you to use creative energy for regeneration, manifestation and spiritual transformation
  • Integrate wisdom from your body and heart.
  • Provide powerful opportunities for healing core wounds – especially around lost love, sexuality, grief, self love and mother and father wounds.
  • To deeply understand the role of sexual life force in your spiritual path of wholeness.
  • To take risks, meet, explore and expand your edges in a safe container.
  • Shine a light on places where culture, religion and society has kept us from expressing who we really are.
  • Take part in powerful rituals that can bring deep healing and power reclamation.
  • Claim yourself as a sovereign being.

ISTA is committed to modelling power sharing, facilitating in trios supported by a core team of assistants. Click on the links below to learn more about this triad of ISTA faculty co-creating this particular journey.

“This training has taken me to the depths of my being. Embracing the array of colors, emotions, sensations, darkness and light, I returned home. Love, ecstasy, vibrancy and eros energy are within me. Level 1 supported this awakening, awareness and expansion of love. With gratitude to the ISTA faculty for creating such a safe and beautiful container to be authentic and express myself fully.” KV (Guatemala 2015)

Thousands of people have gone through this training worldwide, the individuals cover a wide age range from 18 to 80, varied backgrounds, all sexual orientations, those who are gender fluid or trans, differing professions from students, artists, surgeons, people from many different religions, races and nationalities. As this weeklong is a journey through life’s core experiences and wounds, it is universal. It touches and can affect individuals of any age, background, race etc, if you choose to allow and if you are open to receive the wisdom and gifts. No previous experience of sacred sexuality, tantra or shamanism is required to participate.

This is an individual process that happens in a group environment and a level of ability to be self responsible is needed to navigate the spiritual sexual shamanic space. ISTA is a mystery school and approaches trauma from the shamanic perspective of connecting with the body and soul. We recommend that if there is known deep seated trauma, individuals seek one on one sessions and get the ok from their therapist before entering the group process.
